KOSHISH at REC BIJNOR

If we want to invest in the prosperity of our nation, we must invest in the education of children so that their talents may be fully employed.

With the aim of educating the nation 'Jagriti Club' of Rajkiya Engineering College, Bijnor has joined hands with Koshish under 'Koshish College Chapters'. Full of energy and inspiration, the members of this club pay back to society in a lot of ways by spreading the constitutionalism, developing the community, and uplifting the society as a whole.

On September 30th, members of team Koshish Jitendra Kumar, Anand Kumar Jaiswal and Mohd. Shoaib Khan visited REC Bijnor to expand our horizon; and Jagriti club wholeheartedly welcomed us for the same. This event was blessed with the presence of Prof.(Dr.) Neelendra Badal, Director of the Institute; Mr. Naresh Kumar, Registrar; Mrs. Shagun Pandey, Head of the Civil Engineering Department; and Mr. Santosh Kumar, Faculty Coordinator of Jagriti Club. We were felicitated by Prof.(Dr.) Neelendra Badal. A seminar was also organized for the students to take them through our journey and plan going forward. Following this, we visited the kasba around college where we met needy children and their guardians, spoke about the importance of education & literacy and distributed stationary items. We concluded the day by having a conversation with the amazing members of Jagriti Club in which our experiences in various domains were exchanged and our agenda items for this collaboration were discussed.

The next day i.e.1st October, Jagriti Club organised various classes in different batches for the students of primary to eighth standard where they learned about various topics of Education, Mathematics, Gandhi Jayanti, etc. 

We are really grateful for the immense support and enthusiasm by the institute. Special shout out to Yaksh Sagar (Student Head, Jagriti Club), Aditya Gautam, Aditya Azad, Ashwani Gautam, Ishwar, Annapurna Tripathi, Jaya Alice Singh, Chirag Gupta, Himanshu Gautam, and all the members of Jagriti Club for all the fantastic work they do.

We have started this initiative 'Koshish College Chapters' which allows us to share our expertise and learnings with all the colleges and universities across India. Looking forward to take this collaboration of ours to great heights!
